Make Mothers Matter at UNESCO

The mission of UNESCO is to build peace through education, science, culture, communication, and information. Through its advocacy work, MMM promotes: 

  • The importance of girls ‘and mothers’ education and their ICT training
  • The need for recognition and integration of mothers as peer educators with other stakeholders in education programs
  • The need for recognition and support of mothers, as major actors in education for peace and global citizenship.
