The ImmuHubs Project

Make Mothers Matter was part of the Stakeholders Forum (SF) of The ImmuHubs Project. This European Union’s funded Health Programme (2014-2020) aimed to reduce transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases by establishing proactive partnerships with citizen groups, public health agencies, key stakeholders and the general public to improve access to vaccination uptake among disadvantaged, isolated, and difficult to reach population groups.

The SF’s role was to provide critical perspectives and new insights on the complex determinants of immunisation, support actions and amplify best practices for vaccination uptake and health literacy in the EU and the WHO European Region.

The transdisciplinary SF represented policy and public health institutions (WHO, WHO-Euro, OSCE, IOM, UNICEF), national governments (German and Italian MOH; INSERM), industry (Vaccines Europe), regulatory (EMA, MHRA), citizen groups and patient organisations (FFF, Make Mothers Matter), humanitarian and advocacy organisations (Sabin Institute, Hellenic Red Cross), media organisations (Vaccines Today), health professional and scientific organisations (ESPID, ESGIE, ESWI).
